    Emerald Princess
    This legendary mermaid statue is located 18m (60ft) below the surface at Saltery Bay Provincial Park. The mermaid is 3m (9ft) tall and attracts masses of scuba divers from around the globe.

    Coast Salish Village
    Located just north of Powell River off Highway 101 in the Sliammon area, this village has been home to local Aboriginals for thousands of years. Tours of the village and the salmon hatchery can be booked in Powell River.

    The Giant Hulks
    Once cruising the seas, these ten vessels float idly, linked together to form a man-made breakwater. Each of the Giant Hulks has its own history, some involved in trade, while a few were involved in battles. Now they protect the paper mill from the strong ocean waves, joined to create one of the world's largest hulk breakwaters.

    Old Gnarly
    This seemingly ancient tree attracts visitors because of its enormity - it measures 2.7m (9ft) in diameter! Old Gnarly is located along Section 2 of the Sunshine Coast Trail, and is accessible only by hiking to it.

    Powell River's Seawalk
    This scenic 1km gravel path winds along the shores of Powell River, allowing walkers to fully explore the parallel that exists between the rugged forest and the dynamic seas of the west coast. The pathway is best accessed from the barge terminal just south of Westview's ferry terminal.
