Frogpond Lake Trail + My Favorites
This trail is located on Goat Island, which is in Powell Lake. The 5km hike starts at the shores of Powell Lake and leads to Frogpond Lake in the middle of the Island. Halfway through the hike, there is a bench and viewpoint which offers stunning views of Fiddlehead Farm and Tin Hat Mountain.
Willingdon Beach Trail + My Favorites
This historic trail connects the districts of Westview and Cranberry, and follows the shoreline, allowing for great swimming and marine wildlife viewing opportunities.
Powell River + My Favorites
All routes at this new Canadian climbing destination range from simple scrambling to vertical climbs and even overhangs. Also in the area are the menacing Eldred River Valley climbs. Granite cliffs tower 600 m (2,000 ft) over the valley floor. Difficulty of the climbs in the area have been rated between 5.9 to 5.11 by the rock climbing grading system and most are suitable only for experienced climbers.
